RESCUE GROUPS WE LOVE

BAA

Brooklyn Animal Action

Brooklyn Animal Action is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of Brooklyn’s animals. Working with our communities we find homes for adoptable animals, facilitate Trap-Neuter-Release programs, perform community outreach and education and advocate for animal welfare. Since 2010, BAA has found homes for over 1,500 cats (and a few dogs) and TNR’d hundreds more. We believe in working together to create a better life for New York’s animals.

NYCFCI

NYC Feral Cat Initiative

The New York City Feral Cat Initiative (NYCFCI) is a program of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals that is committed to solving NYC’s feral cat overpopulation crisis through the humane, non-lethal method of Trap-Neuter-Return, or TNR for short.

ACR

Anjellicle Cats Rescue

Anjellicle Cats Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. We are a member of the Mayor’s Alliance and a New Hope Partner with the New York Animal Care & Control (ACC). Our goal is to help make New York City a no kill city. For over 10 years we’ve been a lifeline for abandoned, stray and neglected cats and kittens. In addition, we work closely with ACC to pull those in danger of being euthanized.

NeighborhoodCats

Neighborhood Cats

Neighborhood Cats believes Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the most humane and effective method available to end the severe feral cat overpopulation crisis faced by this country. Our mission is to make TNR fully understood, accepted and practiced in every community.

ASPCA

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) is one of the largest humane societies in the world. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization. We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and are proud to boast more than 2 million supporters across the country.

FIP

Ferals In Peril is a 501 [c] [3] not-for- profit organization. We are located in Brooklyn and primarily serve the Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge communities. The primary objective of Ferals In Peril is to provide free spay/neuter clinics for un-owned and feral cats.
