The Cat Rescuer of the Day
The Cat Rescuers is an upcoming documentary about four dedicated volunteers who are saving the lives of hundreds of abandoned and feral cats on the streets of Brooklyn.
Our film calls attention to a global issue being addressed by thousands of organizers and heroic human beings – those who do TNR, volunteer at shelters, take on fosters, what have you. Since we could only put a fraction of those wonderful people in our film, we’ve created the Cat Rescuer of the Day program to celebrate the efforts of as many as possible.

Rescue Efforts:
I take in orphaned newborn kittens and bottle-feed them and teach them how to be wonderful adoptable kittens
One Rescue I’ll Never Forget Was…
I received a call about four orphaned kittens found in a garbage can. It was also my anniversary, but my husband is very supportive of my rescue and fostering of kittens. So I dashed over there to get them instead of celebrating our anniversary.
One Thing I wish People Understood about Cats or Cat Rescuing Is…
The unplanned kitten population is astounding and people just need to spay and neuter their cats. These kittens deserve more than to be thrown away or dumped at the shelter.
When I’m Not Rescuing Cats, I Like to…
I enjoy time with my family and our own “rescued” pets.
I’m Looking Forward to The Cat Rescuers Film Because…
I’m hoping it will raise awareness.
